Customer History
View the complete service history for any customer. Access past work orders, track spending, and understand the full relationship with each customer.
Viewing Service History
Open any customer profile to see their complete work order history:

The history shows:
- Work Order Number - Click to open the full work order
- Date - When the work was performed
- Status - Current status of the work order
- Watercraft - Which vessel was serviced
- Description - Summary of work performed
- Total - Invoice amount
Filtering History
Filter the work order list to find specific records:
- By Status - Show only active, completed, etc.
- By Date Range - Specify a time period
- By Watercraft - Show work for a specific vessel
- By Type - Filter by work order type

Financial Summary
The customer profile includes a financial summary:

- Total Revenue - Lifetime spending with your shop
- Outstanding Balance - Unpaid invoices
- Last Service - Most recent work order date
- Total Work Orders - Number of jobs completed
Service Patterns
Customer history helps you identify service patterns:
- Seasonal customers - Do they come for winterization every year?
- Regular maintenance - Are they due for annual service?
- Recurring issues - Has the same problem happened before?
Best Practice: Review History
Before starting a new work order, quickly review the customer's history. This helps you understand past issues, see what's been done before, and provide better service.
Exporting History
Export customer history for records or reporting:
- Open the customer profile
- Click Export History
- Choose format (PDF or CSV)
- Select date range if desired
- Download the file
