Dashboard Overview

The ShopTrack dashboard is your command center for managing your marine service business. It provides at-a-glance visibility into your operations and quick access to key features.

Role-Based Dashboards

ShopTrack displays different dashboard views based on your user role. This ensures each team member sees the information most relevant to their responsibilities.

Manager Dashboard

Managers see a complete overview of shop operations including all work orders, team performance metrics, and business insights.

Key features of the Manager Dashboard:

• Work Order Summary - Counts by status (Active, Pending, Completed)
• Revenue Metrics - Daily/weekly/monthly revenue tracking
• Team Activity - See who's working on what
• Active Flagtime - View all running timers across technicians

Service Advisor Dashboard

Service advisors see work orders they're responsible for, customer communications, and pending actions that need attention.

Technician Dashboard

Technicians see their assigned work orders, active timers, and tasks requiring their attention.

Key features of the Technician Dashboard:

• My Work Orders - Work orders assigned to the technician
• Active Timer - Currently running flagtime with quick controls
• Recent Activity - Recent notes, photos, and updates

Dashboard Components

Work Order Status Overview

The status overview shows a count of work orders in each status. Click any status to jump directly to a filtered view of those work orders.

Work order statuses include:

Active Flagtime Grid

When technicians are actively tracking time, the dashboard displays their running timers. This provides real-time visibility into who's working on what.

Quick Actions

Common actions are available right from the dashboard:

• + New Work Order - Start the work order creation wizard
• + New Customer - Add a new customer quickly
• View All Work Orders - Jump to the full work order list

Navigation

The main navigation provides access to all ShopTrack features:

• Dashboard - Return to the main overview
• Work Orders - View and manage all work orders
• Customers - Manage customer records
• Watercraft - View vessels and equipment
• Gallery - Browse all uploaded media
• Reports - Access reporting tools
• Settings - Configure your account

Notifications

The notification bell in the header shows unread notifications. Click it to see recent activity and updates requiring your attention.

Your Profile

Click your name or avatar in the top right to access:

• Profile Settings - Update your personal information and password
• Notification Preferences - Configure which notifications you receive
• Logout - Sign out of ShopTrack
