Customers Overview

Customer management is central to your marine service business. ShopTrack helps you maintain detailed customer records, track their vessels, and view complete service history.

Customer Records

Each customer record in ShopTrack includes:

  • Contact Information - Name, phone, email, address
  • Watercraft - Vessels and equipment they own
  • Work Order History - All past and current work
  • Payment Information - Linked payment methods (if Square integrated)
  • Notes - Any special notes about the customer

Accessing Customers

Navigate to customers via:

  • The Customers link in the main navigation
  • Clicking a customer name on any work order
  • The search function in the header

  • Search - Find customers by name, email, or phone
  • Sort - Order by name, recent activity, or total work orders
  • Quick Actions - Create work order, view profile, contact customer

Customer Profile

The customer profile page shows:

  • Header - Name, primary contact info, quick actions
  • Watercraft - All vessels owned by this customer
  • Work Orders - Complete history of all services
  • Financial Summary - Total spend, outstanding balances

Quick Actions

From any customer view, you can quickly:

  • Create Work Order - Start a new work order for this customer
  • Add Watercraft - Add a new vessel to their profile
  • Send Message - Contact the customer via email
  • Edit Profile - Update contact information
